Selected cases of the European Court provide a summary of the most significant judgments and decisions made by that Court in the second half of 2019. The document is suitable for quick reading and finding information about the practice of the European Court, as the judgments are systematized according to the articles of the Convention, with short sentences containing the essence of the established violation or the reasoning of the European Court. In this edition, attention is drawn to the judgment of the Grand Chamber in the case of Strand Lobben and others v. Norway, which was marked by the European Court, as one of the most significant cases in 2019, and which concerns the violation of the right to respect for private life, because the national authorities did not, in the process of depriving the applicant of her parental rights, sufficiently take into account all the circumstances of the case.
