The AIRE Centre’s Human Rights in Europe – Legal Bulletin was first published in 2000 and has since accompanied and guided efforts to establish the rule of law and protect human rights across the Western Balkans. In that time this publication has become one of the most authoritative sources of human rights case law in the region and is distributed to judges, prosecutors, government officials, practitioners and NGOs. The Bulletin, which is now published twice yearly in BCMS and English, provides up to date information and expert commentary on the latest cases from the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg, and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in Luxembourg. It also features articles that attempt to tackle the region’s ongoing challenges through the prism of international human rights law.
