The aim of the Guide is to acquaint the relevant institutions with the complexity of the term “private life”, as well as to bring closer the methodological approach used by the European Court in its decisions, when determining whether there has been a violation of this right. In addition to European standards, the Guide introduces the reader to the national legal framework that regulates the right to private life. Moreover, the Guide presents a selection of decisions from the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, regular courts and the institution of the Ombudsman.
